Abbott is seeking dependable, motivated Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Liberty, SC. This role involves hands-on assembly work in a clean, regulated production environment. You will be responsible for assembling components, performing quality checks, and supporting manufacturing operations to meet daily production goals. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assemble small and large components according to work instructions and production specifications
Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
Use basic hand tools, production equipment, and measuring devices as required
Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to FDA and Abbott production requirements
Perform basic machine operation tasks and support equipment setup under supervision
Document work accurately, including production counts and quality checks
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
Communicate equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors promptly
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic understanding of manufacturing, assembly, or production operations
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
