About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist – Travel Contract

Location

Richmond, VA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Perform a high volume of CT scans (80–100 per day) including abdominal/pelvic, chest, head, spine, brain, and CTA studies
Assist with CT-guided biopsies and other specialized imaging procedures
Operate GE and Philips CT scanners in a fast-paced acute care environment
Document and manage imaging records using Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS
Maintain patient safety and image quality standards throughout all scanning procedures
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team across weekend and night shift hours

Required Qualifications

Active Virginia State Radiologic Technology License required
ARRT – CT certification required
Minimum 2 years of current CT technologist experience
Proficiency with CT imaging equipment and PACS systems
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a high-volume imaging environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience operating GE and/or Philips CT scanners
Familiarity with Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS
Background in performing CTA studies and CT-guided biopsies
